Breast Health Educational Workshops

Women of all ages are invited to attend these free educational workshops on breast health, offered by VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital Health & Wellness at multiple times and locations this summer.July 10 (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.),
  • R.T. Arnold Library, 110 E. Danville St., South Hill, VA

  • July 24 (10 a.m. – 12 noon), Brunswick Co. Public Library, 133 W. Hicks St., Lawrenceville, VA

  • August 7 (10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.), Clarksville Public Library, Virginia Ave., Clarksville, VA

  • August 28 (10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.), Warren Co. Memorial Library, 1119 S. Front St., Littleton, NC

In addition to participants will receive a free blood pressure and sugar screening, they will learn about breast health education and breast cancer awareness, self-awareness breast massages, intervention and early detection, who is at risk for breast cancer, how often to have a mammogram, and education on colon cancer.
