The Gallbladder What It Does & How To Tell If Yours Is Sick

Community Out-Reach Education

South Hill – Most people don’t pay much attention to their gallbladder until it starts causing trouble.  When there is a problem it can be quite painful and often requires immediate action.  What are the causes and symptoms associated with gallbladder pain?  What are the treatments for gallbladder disease?  Can I prevent gallbladder disease?

If you are looking for answers to questions like these, attend September’s C.O.R.E. (Community Outreach Education) Program at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital to learn more about the signs and symptoms of gallbladder problems.

This FREE program will be on Tuesday, September 19th at 4:00 p.m. in the VCU Health CMH Education Center Auditorium at 125 Buena Vista Circle in South Hill.

Dr. Michael Tozzi will be the speaker for the program. Dr. Tozzi is a board certified general surgeon.  He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He completed his residency in General Surgery from City Avenue Hospital, Germantown Hospital and Parkview Hospital, all located in Philadelphia.  Dr. Tozzi recently joined our team of skilled surgeons at CMH Surgical Services located at 416 Durant Street in South Hill.

Reservations are not required for this program; however, they are recommended.  For more information or to register to attend, please call (434) 774-2550 or visit www.vcu-cmh.org.  Entrance to VCU Health CMH Education Center Auditorium is to the left of the main hospital entrance.
