Neighborhood Watch Organization will be having a meeting at the Jarratt Fire Department in the meeting room on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 7:00 P.M.

This meeting will be a candidate forum for the sheriff elections in Greensville and Sussex counties.  All the candidates running for sheriff election/re-election in Greensville County and Sussex County have been invited to the meeting so the citizens from these communities can meet the candidates. The candidates will give a brief introduction of themselves.

Please plan on attending this very important meeting to meet the candidates and bring a friend.

All residents in Jarratt, Greensville, Sussex Counties and Emporia are invited to attend this program.  Please come and voice your ideas to help our area to prevent crime and make our area a safer place to live and enjoy.

The Emporia / Greensville Neighborhood Watch invites you to come out to meet and greet the new Police Chief Rick Pinksaw of the City of Emporia, he will be here to introduce himself and his plans for the City. There may be a short question and answer session.  We would like to invite anyone from Emporia, Jarratt, and Greensville County to attend the meeting.  The meeting will be on Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00 PM. At the Greensville County Ruritan Club off Hwy 58 West.

This will be a great program and don’t be fooled because we live in a rural area that it cannot happen here. Plan on attending this meeting and learn what steps you can take to protect yourself should be in a situation like this. Please plan on attending this very informative meeting and bring a family member, friend and/or neighbor.
