How You Can Participate

Sponsor a Wreath

For just $17, residents can sponsor a wreath that will adorn a veteran’s grave in Emporia. Each wreath symbolizes gratitude, remembrance, and unity across generations.

Emporians wishing to donate in person can visit any of the following local businesses:

  • Bobby D’s – 607 Merchant St.
  • Sweet Granada – 803 Commercial St.
  • Nature’s Paradise – 1511 W. 6th Ave.

If you prefer to contribute online, donations can be made directly through the Wreaths Across America website.

Donation Deadline

The final day to sponsor a wreath for this year’s ceremony is November 25, so supporters are encouraged to act early to ensure every veteran is honored.

Wreath-Laying Ceremony Details

The Emporia wreath-laying ceremony will take place on December 13 at Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

  • Grave-specific placements will begin at 10:00 a.m.
  • The main ceremony will commence at 11:00 a.m., uniting families, veterans, and community members in remembrance and gratitude.
