A Worcester County man who won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery claims he has been playing the same numbers for 20 years. That was approximately the same time his wife won the lottery jackpot of $1 million.
Thomas Ensko of Blackstone won the seven-figure prize after correctly predicting five of the “Mega Millions” numbers in the multi-state drawing on Tuesday, June 11. These numbers were 1, 5, 7, 22, and 24, with Megaplier 8.
He intends to use the money to support his children and grandchildren.
Ensko purchased the ticket at Anderson’s Variety Store, 266 Blackstone St., Blackstone. The store will receive a $10,000 incentive.
We collected 630 winning tickets worth at least $600 on Tuesday.
