Kansas men’s basketball freshman guard Kohl Rosario made an appearance on this week’s episode of K-Nation, offering insight into his early experience as part of the Jayhawks program.
Strong Start To The Season
Rosario has been impressive in his debut season, earning a spot in the starting lineup for all five games so far.
He is averaging 7.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, contributing consistently on both ends of the court.
In a one-on-one interview with K-Nation’s Kole Emplit, Rosario shared his thoughts on his first season at Kansas, including what it’s like playing alongside Darryn Peterson and performing in the electrifying atmosphere of Allen Fieldhouse.
Adjusting To Big Crowds
Rosario noted that the crowd size and intensity have been unlike anything he has experienced before.
“This has been the biggest crowd that I’ve played against my whole career,” he said. “Not a lot of times when you get to play in a 15,000 people packed arena every day. It’s good — I’m definitely adjusting well, and I’m excited that I’m here.”
