- Region Direct: Connects 15 regional hubs across the metro area, allowing visitors to explore local attractions without needing cars.
- Airport Direct: Offers regular express buses between Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and downtown. Buses will run approximately every 15 minutes, ensuring smooth airport transfers.
These services reduce traffic congestion and make it easier for fans to reach stadiums, fan zones, and downtown attractions quickly and safely.
Expanded Bus Fleet and Routes
Kansas City has leased 200 buses specifically for World Cup operations. Each bus accommodates about 53 passengers, connecting fans to the stadium, airport, festival areas, and regional hubs.
In addition, the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) will increase the frequency of regular bus routes, ensuring that high-demand lines, including downtown and entertainment districts, can handle the influx of visitors.
