A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with multiple alleged offences, including aggravated burglary, domestic battery and dozens of protection order violations.
The Riley County Police Department identified the man as Anthony Toliver. He was taken into custody on Monday, June 22, 2026, following the execution of a district court warrant.
Arrest Made Near Courthouse Plaza
Police said Toliver was arrested at approximately 11:11 a.m. in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza in Manhattan, Kansas.
The arrest was conducted under a warrant issued by the Riley County District Court. Authorities reported that the warrant stemmed from a case first reported to police in May 2026.
Officials have not publicly disclosed where the alleged offences occurred or provided a detailed account of the events leading to the warrant. Information identifying the alleged victim or victims was also withheld.
Police departments commonly limit the release of details in cases involving domestic allegations and protection orders to avoid further harm to those involved and to comply with privacy requirements.
Warrant Lists More Than 40 Counts
According to the official police report, the warrant contained 41 allegations in total.
Toliver was arrested in connection with 38 counts of violating a protection order. The warrant also listed one count of domestic battery, one count of aggravated intimidation of a witness or victim and one count of aggravated burglary.
Authorities did not explain whether the alleged protection order violations occurred on separate dates or arose from different forms of contact.

Suspect Booked Into County Jail
Following his arrest, Toliver was transported to the Riley County Jail and booked in connection with the allegations.
Police said he was issued a combined bond of $8,000. He remained confined at the jail when the department released its daily report on Tuesday morning.
