TULSA, OKLA. – A 40-year-old Tulsa resident, Randolph White, is now facing multiple felony charges after allegedly leading authorities on a dangerous high-speed chase and placing the public at risk.
On Wednesday, White was officially charged with endangering others while fleeing from police, ignoring a roadblock, and operating a vehicle with a revoked driver’s license.
Details of the Pursuit
The Bartlesville Police Department reported that the incident occurred on June 11, 2024, when White was allegedly behind the wheel of a stolen white Chevrolet Tahoe traveling northbound on Washington Boulevard.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, White reportedly refused to comply and instead made a sharp right turn onto Nowata Road.
Police allege that White continued to drive recklessly, failing to yield to law enforcement while creating a significant threat to other drivers and pedestrians.
Eventually, authorities intercepted the vehicle and took White into custody without further incident.
At the time of the chase, White’s license had already been revoked, adding another serious offense to the list of charges.
Legal Action and Upcoming Court Appearance
A warrant for White’s arrest was issued in July 2024, following the initial incident. After his apprehension, bond was set at $50,000.
White is scheduled to appear before the court again on July 11 at 9 a.m., where he will face charges related to reckless endangerment, evading law enforcement, and driving with a revoked license.
The case against Randolph White underscores the dangers of fleeing law enforcement and the serious consequences of driving without a valid license.
As the court date approaches, authorities are reminding the public of the importance of adhering to traffic laws and cooperating with police to maintain community safety.
