Amber Brunswig, the head softball coach at Eisenhower High School, has sadly passed away after a prolonged battle stemming from a major cardiac event she suffered in early June.

The tragic news was shared on Sunday by the EHS Tigers Softball program through a heartfelt post on Facebook.

Our hearts are heavy as we share that our dear friend Amber passed away this weekend. She touched so many lives through her kindness and strength,” the post read.

Weeks in Hospice Care and Community Support

Following the cardiac episode, Brunswig was placed in hospice care, where she remained for several weeks.
