A stabbing incident on the 300 block of Park Avenue in Columbia on Saturday night left both the suspect and victim injured, according to police. The Columbia Police Department responded to a call at approximately 9:56 p.m. regarding a disturbance involving a stabbing.

Suspect Identified and Arrested

Glenn Bennett, a 36-year-old Columbia resident, was arrested in connection with the stabbing. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a victim suffering from hand injuries.

Authorities reported that Bennett had already fled the area but was located shortly after with stab wounds of his own. He was taken to a local hospital for medical attention.

Following treatment, Bennett was discharged from the hospital and taken into custody. He is facing charges of:
