Argument Ends In Gunfire – Man Shot Dead In Kansas City Neighborhood

On the evening of June 1, 2025, a fatal shooting occurred in Kansas City’s Key Coalition neighborhood. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Wabash Avenue. 

Upon arrival, officers found 31-year-old Javonie E. Minor suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
