The bakery’s owner, Aimee Bush, shared the news through an emotional message posted to Belle’s Kitchen’s Facebook page, expressing gratitude and reflecting on the difficult decision.

“It is with a heavy heart and sadness that I announce that I have decided to close Belle’s,” Bush wrote. “This was not an easy decision to come to, but unfortunately, I have reached my breaking point. I will be sad to leave all of this behind, but I look forward to starting new.”

Although no specific closing date has been provided yet, Bush encouraged loyal customers to continue visiting in the meantime.

“So still come see me, still come get your donuts,” she added. “I will let you know more on when our last day will be and the donut extravaganza we will be having when it gets closer.”

Belle’s Kitchen earned national attention in 2016, when the Travel Channel named it one of the best bakeries in the United States, and the top bakery in Oklahoma.
