The collision occurred shortly before 9:00 AM on Wednesday at the intersection of Kansas Highway 42 and West 111th Street, near Wichita. The KHP reported that 56-year-old Kevin Paige of Emporia was driving a semi-truck hauling a flatbed westbound on 111th Street. 

According to troopers, Paige failed to yield at the intersection, resulting in a collision with another semi-truck driven by 51-year-old Keith Turner of Wichita. Turner’s semi-truck overturned due to the impact.

Injuries and Medical Response

Keith Turner sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Ascension Via Christi St. Teresa in Wichita for treatment. Kevin Paige was not injured in the incident.
