Emporia State University’s football program has scored a major win off the field. Coach Vincent Cashdollar, the Hornets’ offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, has been named one of just 25 finalists for the prestigious 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers National Coaching Academy.
An Elite Coaching Opportunity
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers National Coaching Academy is an exclusive, weeklong program designed to provide intensive training and hands-on experience to rising football coaches.
As part of the program, Coach Cashdollar will participate in the Buccaneers’ 2025 rookie minicamp and will receive a full scholarship covering all travel and program-related expenses in Tampa.
Finalists were chosen from a global pool of applicants, each required to have at least three years of coaching or operational experience at the high school, college, or semi-professional levels.
Impact at Emporia State
Coach Cashdollar has spent six years with Emporia State’s football program and has served as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the past five seasons. Under his guidance:
- Three offensive linemen have earned All-American honors
- Twelve linemen have been named All-MIAA
His influence has helped transform the Hornets’ offensive unit into one of the most respected in the conference.
A Strong Coaching Background
Before arriving at Emporia State, Cashdollar coached for seven seasons at Manchester University in Indiana (NCAA Division III). During that time, he:
- Served as the offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator
- Took on the role of offensive coordinator in 2016
- Worked as the quarterbacks coach in 2019
His breadth of experience and leadership on the field have made him a standout candidate for national recognition.
Cashdollar’s selection to the Buccaneers National Coaching Academy is a major milestone—not only for his coaching career but also for Emporia State Football, which continues to gain visibility on a national stage.
His upcoming participation in the academy will expose him to new strategies, networking opportunities, and the chance to learn directly from NFL staff.
