The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced a new infrastructure project aimed at enhancing pedestrian facilities across several communities in Cole and Osage counties.
The upgrades will ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by installing new sidewalks, curb ramps, and pavement approaches.

Additional work is planned at the following locations:

Project Deadline
According to MoDOT, all work is scheduled to be completed by December 15, as per the terms outlined in the contractor’s agreement.
The upcoming improvements by MoDOT represent a significant step forward in making pedestrian infrastructure safer and more accessible for all residents, especially those with disabilities.
Once completed, the project will not only align with ADA compliance standards but also enhance the overall usability and safety of high-traffic pedestrian areas in both Cole and Osage counties.
