NEO A&M Men’s Basketball Duo Earns Spot on JUCO Top 100 List

Two standout players from NEO A&M Norsemen men’s basketball have earned national recognition after being selected for the JUCO Top 100 List, which highlights the top junior college basketball recruits in the United States.

The honors reflect the strong season performances of Justin McCarter and Cedric Dixon, both of whom have played a key role in NEO A&M’s success.

Justin McCarter Ranked No. 44 Nationwide

Justin McCarter secured the No. 44 position on the JUCO Top 100 rankings. The redshirt sophomore has been a consistent all-around contributor, averaging 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists per game this season.

McCarter’s impressive play has already earned him a future at the Division I level, as he is committed to join Milwaukee University next fall. His ability to score, facilitate, and rebound makes him one of the most complete guards at the junior college level.

Cedric Dixon Checks In at No. 82

Coming in at No. 82 on the national list, Cedric Dixon continues to shine as a scoring threat for the Norsemen. The Tulsa, Oklahoma native is also averaging 17 points per game, while posting an excellent 49% shooting percentage from three-point range.

Dixon was previously committed to University of Missouri-Kansas City, but he reopened his recruitment on January 18, making him one of the more intriguing prospects currently available in the JUCO ranks.

Norsemen Set for Back-to-Back Home Games

With both stars earning national recognition, NEO A&M men’s basketball now turns its attention back to conference action. The Norsemen will host Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa on February 5, followed by another home matchup against Murray State College on February 7.

The selection of Justin McCarter and Cedric Dixon to the JUCO Top 100 List highlights the rising profile of NEO A&M men’s basketball on the national stage. With elite individual performances, Division I opportunities, and key games ahead, the Norsemen continue to prove they are a program to watch this season.
