Oklahoma Business Owner Donates “Texas Strong” Shirt Proceeds to Flood Relief

An Oklahoma-based small business owner, Savannah Prine, is turning her passion for graphic apparel into a force for good by launching a “Texas Strong” t-shirt campaign, with 100% of proceeds supporting flood relief efforts in Texas.

From Hobby to Purpose-Driven Brand

Prine, a teacher and mother of twins, started her small business as a creative outlet during summer breaks. Initially focused on seasonal graphic shirts for holidays like Halloween and Christmas, her venture has steadily grown in popularity.

“I’ve always loved buying and designing graphic shirts. One day I decided to start making them myself—and I’ve loved it ever since,” she said.

Partnering with a local design firm, Prine produces and assembles each item from her home, turning a personal hobby into a meaningful contribution to her community and beyond.

Designing With Heart: ‘Texas Strong’

Moved by the devastating floods in Kerr County, Texas, Prine felt compelled to take action. She began designing several styles of “Texas Strong” shirts, inspired by Texan symbols like the red, white, and blue and state flowers.

“When Oklahoma faces disaster, people rally to help us. I thought—why not do the same for Texas?” Prine explained.

The flood’s tragic impact on children, especially those at Camp Mystic, deeply affected her. As a parent, the news struck a personal chord.

“I have 6-year-old twins. Seeing those stories—it just pulls at your heart. I couldn’t imagine that kind of loss,” she said.

Every Shirt Counts

All proceeds from the shirt sales are being donated directly to Kerr County to support recovery and rebuilding efforts. Prine emphasized that even small contributions matter in the face of such widespread loss.

“Even one shirt can help one person. It may be small, but it’s something—and that something can mean a lot,” she shared.

Through her “Texas Strong” campaign, Savannah Prine is proving that small businesses can make a big difference.

Her initiative not only provides financial aid to Texas flood victims, but also sets an inspiring example of compassion and community action.

Those interested in supporting the cause can do so by purchasing a shirt and spreading the word.
