A man is dead and another individual is in police custody following a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday morning in Farmington, Missouri.

According to Police Chief Chris Bullock, the shooting took place around 11:30 a.m. on the 600 block of Hill Top Place Drive. Officers responding to the scene discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately attempted to administer emergency medical aid.
Despite their efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
