At approximately 12:45 a.m., the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) sought assistance from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office regarding a stolen street sweeper truck.
The vehicle, a 2020 white Ford F-250 pickup modified for street cleaning, was registered to All Care Services LLC based in Kansas.
Law enforcement officials identified the stolen truck near the main entrance of Captain’s Sports Lounge, located at 10221 N. Oak Trafficway.
A disturbance was reported behind the establishment, where two individuals were observed in the otherwise empty parking lot.
One man, found near the stolen truck, was taken into custody and handed over to KCPD for further questioning. As of March 16, no charges have been filed, and the suspect’s identity remains undisclosed.
