The U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) will make history this fall by playing its first match at CPKC Stadium, the world’s first stadium designed specifically for a women’s professional team.

The landmark match is set for Wednesday, October 29 at 7 p.m. CT in Kansas City. The opposing team has yet to be announced, but the game is part of a three-match series during the FIFA international window.

Fans can tune in to the broadcast on TNT, TruTV, and HBO Max (English), or Universo and Peacock (Spanish), and Westwood One Sports Radio for live coverage.

Leaders Praise the Momentous Occasion

Angie and Chris Long, co-owners of the Kansas City Current, expressed their excitement:

“We’re incredibly honored to welcome the USWNT to CPKC Stadium for the first time. This is a special moment not just for Kansas City but for women’s sports worldwide.”

“The work done at this venue is essential for the future of the women’s game. Although CPKC is smaller than most stadiums we play in, the atmosphere it generates is second to none. I can’t wait to experience the energy that Kansas City fans always deliver.”
