NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Authorities have confirmed that one person was killed following a shooting at a CVS pharmacy in North Kansas City on Thursday afternoon.
According to the North Kansas City Police Department, officers were dispatched to the CVS located on Swift Street around 3 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a single victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Tragically, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
