Arrest & Vehicle Details
Shortly after the fourth robbery on Thursday, law-enforcement observed the red/maroon Jeep believed linked to the crimes near Highway 71 and East 39th Street in Kansas City.
The tactical unit for the Kansas City Police Department attempted to block the vehicle at 39th Street and Paseo Blvd. During the attempted stop, Womack slid to the passenger seat, exited the vehicle on foot, and was tackled and taken into custody.
Inside the vehicle, officers discovered a large amount of cash and clothing consistent with the surveillance images from the robberies.
