Police said a juvenile male over the age of 16 was found with gunshot injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his name.

Two Others Taken To Hospital

Two other victims were also shot during the incident. Police identified them as an adult male and another juvenile male over the age of 16.

The adult male suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The second juvenile male suffered injuries that police described as non-life-threatening. He was also taken to a hospital.

Officials have not released further details about their conditions or the circumstances that led to the shooting.

Suspect Taken Into Custody

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department said an adult male suspect was taken into custody at the scene. Police said the suspect was being held for further questioning as detectives continued to investigate.
