One person was killed and two others were injured after a shooting Thursday evening in Kansas City, Missouri, according to police.
Officers were called at around 5:15 p.m. to the 9200 block of Old Santa Fe Road after reports of gunfire in the area. When officers arrived, they found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police said a juvenile male over the age of 16 was found with gunshot injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his name.
Two Others Taken To Hospital
Two other victims were also shot during the incident. Police identified them as an adult male and another juvenile male over the age of 16.
The adult male suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The second juvenile male suffered injuries that police described as non-life-threatening. He was also taken to a hospital.

Suspect Taken Into Custody
