A juvenile suspect has been taken into custody after a man was fatally shot at a residential property on Sunday morning, according to police.

Officers Respond To Shooting At Home
Police officers responded to reports of a shooting near East 57th Street and Forest Avenue at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 14.
When officers arrived at the property, they discovered an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound on the front porch of the home.
Emergency medical personnel provided assistance before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save him, the man was pronounced dead at the medical facility.
Authorities have not publicly released the victim’s name, age or other identifying details. Police are expected to provide additional information after relatives have been notified.
Shooting Followed Interaction Inside Property
Preliminary findings suggest the shooting followed an interaction that took place inside the residence.
